ABOUT
SUPPORT KITSAP PHILHARMONIC

Kitsap Philharmonic (K-Phil) is Kitsap County's largest and most robust youth symphony orchestra, consisting of two symphony orchestras, 115+ student musicians, and 10 artistic staff members. K-Phil student musicians come from three counties (Kitsap, Jefferson, and Pierce) and attend over 15 different public schools.

All students ages 10 to 21 are welcome to audition and only one year of music experience is required. K-Phil ensures scholarships are available so every student can participate, regardless of financial constraints. Students rehearse on Sunday nights throughout the school year and experience group rehearsals, as well as sectionals with artistic staff trained in their instrument.

K-Phil performs three concerts per school year with free admission, making symphony orchestra performances accessible to all in Kitsap and surrounding counties. Last year, Kitsap Philharmonic held the first ever sold-out event at the Central Kitsap Performing Arts Center (CK PAC). Members of K-Phil's staff and executive board are longtime music educators, parents, and patrons of the arts.

Students pay an annual tuition fee, but in order to keep tuition low ($800+ lower than the second closest youth symphony) we rely on donations from generous local donors. Funds raised help pay for scholarships, artistic staff salaries, rehearsal and concert venue space rentals, liability insurance, music repertoire, and more.

With your support, we can continue providing a unique, full orchestra experience to the young musicians of Kitsap County and beyond. Thank you for supporting K-Phil and we hope to see you at a future performance!

Kitsap Philharmonic is a 501(c)(3) charitable organization and relies on donations from local supporters to provide quality music education to Kitsap County youth. If you wish to claim the tax deductibility of this gift in the U.S., please download the PDF below.
